Everyone likes to hear good news. Most people like to be the person who brings good news. Isaiah 57:7 tells us that the feet of those who bring good news are beautiful. This is obviously symbolic of the fact that when someone is coming to bring good news you are glad to see them. I am posting this because I am sure you will be glad to hear these things. In the past three weeks at our church 3 people (that we know of) trusted in Jesus as their personal Savior! That is good news! This past Sunday 4 people were baptized(not the same as the 3 new believers), 2 were scheduled and baptized in the morning services and 2 attended the morning service and decided to come back to the night service and get baptized! That is good news!
I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ that He was willing to lay down His life to pay the price for our sins, rise again three days later to prove that He had victory over sin, Satan and death and offer salvation to all who believe. We can take no credit for the work that He has done in these individuals lives but we can celebrate and be glad that the Lord used us at FRBC to bring the message to them and help them in the journey of faith.
God Bless, Pastor Mike
