Jesus was glorified today by the testimony Baillie left. Our church seats 250 people and there was close to 400 in attendance. We will miss Baillie so much but the legacy he left will be an inspiration to us all.

I have known Chris Baillie thru my son, Michael Fell, since he was a small boy. I will never forget that as they grew into teenagers and young adults, he was always the responsible friend, the designated driver. “I’m going with Baillie Mom” just always made me feel better. The party’s at Baillie’s house, you just knew the kids would be ok. The parents let them stay there. He drove Michael’s band down the east coast, you just knew they were safe. Always polite and chatty when he came to the house.
In my address book, I would keep info about each of my children’s friends, in the event that something ever happened. My entry for Chris Baillie said “Michael’s friend, green chevy van NWD94A” and 2 stars. 2 stars meant, he’s a good one. I always knew he was a good kid, I never imagined how much of an amazing, well loved man he was til I looked at his fb page. What a beautiful person and I am so happy that my son had the experience of being a part of his life and his friend.
My heart goes out to his parents, especially his Mom, Barbara.
The service from Pastor Mike was beautiful and so well said. The words from all his friends, so heart wrenching and joyful a the same time. I’m glad that I knew this extraordinary man!!!

Chris was my Grandson. but more than that was a loving human being and was our first born grandchild. His phone calls always ended with “I love You.” we saw Chris when he returned from Oklahoma City and stopped in Florida to see us. he would not leave until I returned home from a meeting and he could say goodbye and “I love you Pop Pop.” Save me a place at the Lords table for me. Pop Pop.
