I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ that He was willing to lay down His life to pay the price for our sins, rise again three days later to prove that He had victory over sin, Satan and death and offer salvation to all who believe. We can take no credit for the work that He has done in these individuals lives but we can celebrate and be glad that the Lord used us at FRBC to bring the message to them and help them in the journey of faith.

On Saturday Pastor Steve, the youth ministry and other volunteers threw a huge Easter egg hunt for the community. We didn’t get an accurate head count but there were roughly 300 children and their families that came through. Each of the children heard the Good News of Jesus Christ through the gospel bracelets, Mr. Bob’s drama and the puppet team from Emanuel Community Church. A special thanks to all who made the day a great success.

Resurrection Sunday as always was the biggest day of the year! It all started at 6:29am (a lot earlier for our faithful volunteers) when the sun peaked over the Barnegat Bay. The sunrise service in Waretown was a huge success and standing room only in the Holiday Beach Club. We had a beautiful service and breakfast to follow. A special thanks to the Locandro’s, Ernst’s and all the others who put it together, those who cleaned it all up and LB and Jake for providing the worship music. I hated to eat and run but two more services were waiting at the church, 8:30 am and 11:00 am. Special thanks to all the deacons, music ministry members, children’s workers, ushers, greeters, sound board and video tech guys. We had over 400 people across the 3 morning services! I am really looking forward to the work that God is doing here at FRBC and am so thankful for the fellowship of believers who are on mission to get the Gospel of Jesus Christ out to the community.
